ALPHA ARTIST LISTS
IMPORTANT STUFF:
This is by no means a complete list of everybody who played in Peoria.
What you won't find listed: sporting events, tractor pulls, rodeos, political rallies, religious revivals, and other such events.
What else do you need? I am particularly interested in the local tourography of artists from the Tri-County. If "The Coachmen" played your prom, or "The Suburban 9 to 5" played your wedding reception, or if you have ticket stubs or posters from any local events, I'd love to add that information to this list. If you were/are a performer, I would love to add your local tourography.
Why are all the musical acts lumped together under "music" and not broken down by genre? Because many artists fit in more than one genre, some artists don't fit any genre, "rock" has many sub-genre's and I couldn't determine which genre some artists fall into.
Information is compiled using Filemaker Pro 8.5, then saved as html. The html is then edited. There are 27 lists, A-Z and # (artist names beginning with a number). Each artist appears on their list in alpha order. If the artist is a single person, they are listed last name first. The exception to this rule is, if the person's name is also used in the name of the act in which they appear, they are listed first name first (example - The Steve Miller Band is listed as "Steve Miller Band, The", not "Miller, Steve, Band, The".)
How was this information obtained? Most information was gathered from other websites, most notably the websites of the artists themselves, or their fans. Some information was added from my own fading memory or photos and ephemera I own.
